WHAT human pets are a thing. An illegal, looked down up thing, but it does happen. Because Felix has one.
WHEN whenever
WHERE Felix's home
WHY because we're awful.

It was nice to come home and destress from whatever the day had brought to Felix's life. Juggling two jobs, one of a professional dancer that was in high demand and the other a professional hitman that was also in high demand, was far too stressful and was giving the twenty-something year old Felix some premature grey hairs. Not that his appearance was top of his list right now. Dropping off his work bags downstairs, Felix headed up to his bedroom and changed out of the day's clothes into soft pajama pants before heading to his walk in closet and opening the door.

"It's time for you to get to work," he said easily enough as he looked at the person at the back of the closet, not moving to get close to him. Felix knew that his pet was trained enough to follow directions and that he didn't need to assist. Moving away from the doorway and over to the bed, he flopped down onto it and sprawled as he turned his head in the direction of the closet. "Don't take too long, I'm feeling impatient tonight."

Time didn't really exist for him. It hadn't for quite a long while. He'd aged and grown and learned but it all seemed to be in a sort of vacuum where night and day happened at their own whimsy and Junior was no long a part of their secret cycles. He didn't even know how old he was now although he did figure he was well past the legal adult age. Had to be. Not that it really stopped a lot of things either way.

When his new owner opened the door, he squinted up into the light from his dark place on the bed that had been given to him. It was all his own and precious and comfortable, fluffy and obviously built for a dog that was sturdier and heavier than him so it would hopefully last a while. He still didn't have enough of a bead on his new owner to decide if it would be replaced upon necessity or was more of a housewarming gift. His Master had given them all a few communal bedthings to share among them and for a long time, Junior had gotten best pick for being smallest and one of the favorites; that didn't mean he always took it. He wasn't a free spirit so much as he was someone who looked outside himself more than he ever dared to look inward anymore, even if he still took too long to think about things sometimes.

Like now, for instance. His owner had left the door open and obviously meant for Junior to follow. It only took a moment once he snapped out of his thoughts, disrobing himself before he left and folding the clothes before setting them aside as he had been taught, because the clothes were for any time but play or use. Protective in their own way. Now he didn't need them.

He came up alongside the bed, lowering himself to his knees and looking sideways toward his owner's stretched out body. He didn't have any explicit instructions yet, and so he waited patiently to be told what his work was right now.
