WHAT dragon and dragonaught spend a long weekend together
WHEN before the dragons are outed to the city, after Casey and Gabriel are totally comfortable with dating each other despite species differences

Gabriel had been looking forward to this for a while now. It had taken careful planning and some convincing to have Casey stay over for the entire holiday weekend and had even gotten to the point where Gabriel had to rope in a dragon/dragonaught couple whose focus lied in humanoid petkeeping to go petsit Casey's animals for the weekend. Thankfully for Gabriel, the couple had been glad to do it and that meant Casey was free to spend time with him without worrying about obligations.
To prepare for them coming over, Gabriel had bought a number of clothes he knew that they liked, but never wore in public due to humanoid misconceptions and had also gotten a few other items that could be used over the duration of the weekend. He had one of these things in a bag he was carrying with him as he waited for Casey to arrive. The moment they got off the elevator, Gabriel was there, already coiling around them in hello.
"So, are you ready for the weekend?" He moved his head to rub against the side of their face affectionately as he held up the bag for them to take. "I got you something, but you're not allowed to open it here."
